A judge has ordered that an atheist father present his son “in good condition and not upset” at 9 in the morning at his mother’s house on the day of the child’s first communion.

In the Family Law Court, Judge Alec Gabbett also ordered that the father “not discuss the sacraments” with his son the night before celebrating his next communion.
