Even more official images are leaked showing Sony’s Xperia 1 VI and Xperia 10 VI

Just a few hours ago, an avalanche of official-looking images were leaked showing the upcoming Sony Xperia 1 VI and Xperia 10 VI, both models that could become official at the company’s event on May 17.

And now here we are with even more leaked images of the two phones, and these look pretty official too. Sony isn’t doing a great job of policing these leaks, but we’re happy to be able to see the unannounced devices in such detail.

This time we see the Xperia 10 VI better in all three colors. As we already mentioned above, the Xperia 10 VI has lost the telephoto zoom camera of its predecessor and has to make do with just the main shooter and an ultra-wide angle. That seems like a step back, but perhaps the main camera can offer a 2x lossless zoom to compensate, we’ll have to wait and see.

Both devices will have a 3.5mm headphone jack and of course there should be quite a big price difference between them, with the Xperia 1 VI being Sony’s premium flagship device for this year. Therefore, it should be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and will come with a triple rear camera system that includes a periscope telephoto lens.

It should have 12/16 GB of RAM, while the Xperia 10 VI is rumored to have 6/8 GB, in an effort to make it cheaper. The 10 VI has a fresher design than the 1 VI, which for the most part follows the proven route its predecessor had already taken. The Xperia 1 VI will have a 5,000 mAh battery, a 120 Hz screen refresh rate, and a 240 Hz touch sampling rate.

The Xperia 1 VI’s less tall and slightly wider screen aspect ratio (now 19.5:9) is displayed in full screen, as are the much slimmer bezels compared to the Xperia 10 VI.

Not many details are currently known about the 10 VI, but if it becomes official in a couple of weeks, we expect to hear a lot more about it soon.
