Jurgen Klopp summons Liverpool wonderkid to first-team training ahead of clash with Tottenham

As anticipation continues over Arne Slot’s confirmation as the new head coach, Jurgen Klopp is determined to end his reign on a high note in the coming weeks, with Tottenham traveling to Liverpool this weekend.

The German coach only has three more games left before saying goodbye to Anfield, starting with this Sunday’s clash against Spurs. With Liverpool all but out of the Premier League title race, the Reds are looking to regain some dignity after recent lackluster performances.

This week, cameras returned to the AXA Training Center to capture the players’ preparations ahead of Sunday’s match. Much attention has been focused on Mohamed Salah and his response following his intense altercation with Klopp at West Ham last weekend.

The 31-year-old Egyptian looked optimistic as he prepared for the visit of Spurs, no doubt aiming to regain his place in the starting XI. However, Salah was not the only one who stood out during training.

An unknown face was also seen among the students. Among the Academy stars called up by Klopp was young defender Amara Nallo, reports.

The 17-year-old has been part of Liverpool since his transfer from West Ham last summer. Since his move to Merseyside, Nallo has made 21 appearances for the Reds at youth level, including 16 for the under-21s.
