Britain’s Got Talent pulled from air in ITV schedule shake-up

Popular Saturday night entertainment show Britain’s Got Talent has been pulled from the TV schedules in an ITV shake-up. The show will not air and instead, a film will be shown on ITV1.

The talent show, which features hosts Ant and Dec and judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli and Amanda Holden, has been scheduled from schedules on Saturday, May 11 with ITV1 instead showing the James Bond film Casino Royale. In a schedule move BGT will now air at 7.40pm on Sunday, May 12 on ITV1.

ITV has not confirmed why it’s changed the normal air time for BGT however the Eurovision Song Contest is airing on BBC One from 8pm on that Saturday. Despite being very early on in the series many judges, including Simon, have used their golden buzzer to send acts straight through to the live semi-finals. Simon was so impressed with a dance performance that the notoriously tough judge found himself hitting the golden buzzer. For the latest TV & Showbiz news, sign up to our newsletter.

Dressed in striking red and silver outfits Cyberagent Legit are a dance group from Japan, who have all been dancing together since they were four years old. Speaking about why they came on the show, they said: “We love Simon! That is why we are here… this is the biggest audition for us. Our dream is to perform around the world, if we won it would be amazing “

After performing a very impressive routine which saw them dance in perfect synchronization and the audience cheering loudly, they received a standing ovation from the audience and all four judges. Amanda Holden said it was “unbelievable” and Simon said: “Amazing! That was fantastic, that was my favorite act of the day actually. Really, really, really good.”
